Eclipse the 162,5m-long yacht, owned by Russian businessman Roman Abramovich is definitely in the category of the most luxurious and most expensive beauties worldwide. With a cost of 340 million EUR, it is owned by the same owner since 2010.

Built by renowned German shipbuilder Blohm+Woss, The Eclipse was launched in June 2009, when it was the prime largest superyacht in the world.
The proportions of this large beauty offer plenty of activities within the yacht. Divided into 9 decks, the top deck is reserved for the helicopters and garage. The swimming pool is on level eight, and level seven features another swimming pool, atrium, and an open deck. On the sixth level, the salon, the main dining hall, and the fourth floor feature the main entrance of the yacht. The entire yacht is a breathtaking luxury and through various decks includes a gym, underwater lights, beach club, dance floor, beauty salon, deck Jacuzzi, and lot more. The boat also features a place for a three-person private submarine that can go up to 160ft depth.

The yacht has 11 staterooms and suites, and the living area a total of 6000 square feet. For up to 30 guests and 92 member staff, the yacht also has a pilothouse on level seven. The master suite, located on level five is spread over an area of 5000 square feet. Each cabin on the yacht features a 6ft home cinema screen, a Jacuzzi, spa, and specialized security systems.

Eclipse is one of the most technologically advanced yachts with the latest technology incorporated: motion sensors, bulletproof glass, and antiballistic missile defense. According to some of the reports, Eclipse has an anti-paparazzi system that detects digital cameras and disables taking photographs of the boat.
An expensive as it is, the estimated annual fee is 60million GBP to maintain this luxury yacht. And according to media reports, to rent the vessel for the day costs 175.000 GBP.
