The Restaurant Sonnora- Attentive Service, Top Luxury and Delightful Food
The restaurant “Sonnora” the heart of the Waldhotel Sonnara, definitely the place where you can enjoy a delightful meal and luxury atmosphere. In a pretty woodland setting in Rhineland in Germany, the hotel was opened in 1978.
At the time, the kitchen chef Helmut Thieltges led the restaurant kitchen into the first Michelin star in 1981, a second in 1991 and the third in 2000. After his tragic death in July 2017, Clemens Rambichler took his place and retained the third star for the restaurant. Born in 1988, he is one of the youngest chefs ever to earn three stars for a restaurant.
Clemens Rambichler and his team cook in a creative and sophistical way, just as their mentor Helmut Thieltges exemplified: the highest quality products, harmonious combinations, and precise craftsmanship have the top priority.
