Thom Browne Chocolate Shop In Tokyo, Japan. As if the brand wasn’t appealing enough to its global audience, the elevation in luxurious services sparked interest amongst thousands. People get to experience the majestic combination close to every person’s heart; the deluxe pleasures of life and dessert. Thom Browne has done it again!
Known as Thom Browne Chocolate, the shop is situated on the third floor in the Hankyu department store in Osaka, becoming the first of such kind. Glittering with sparkles of gold, the shop features a white counter entirely clad in marble with a glass finish on top exhibiting an array of exquisite chocolate delicacies displayed in lustrous shelves and cabinets. Additionally, the rest of the store is separated by louvered slats imbued with the usual sense of sophistication and an office-themed aesthetic just like all other Thom Browne branches around the world.
The unique fusion of chocolate and fashion emerged from a collaboration of Thom Browne with Louis Sherry, a well-known chocolate connoisseur also based in New York. Established in 1881, Louis Sherry New York was a renowned traditional chocolate maker introducing French processing methods to the States.
Specialized in crafting sweets and desserts, the company opened a branch in Madison Street gaining immense popularity for their signature chocolaty delights. This unusual yet iconic combination has brought forth sugary happiness in twelve different flavors exclusively, packaged with an embellishment of the brand’s label. The chocolates are showcased alongside the designer’s limited-edition luxury items including coin purses and delicately designed small bags made from leather.
If Thom Browne is known for anything, it’s the quality of his products, the gentleness of his style yet bold at the same time. His sense of sophistication mixed with striking fashion trends is one of the reasons behind his mass success as a fashion designer. The embodiment of his liberating ideas and way of blending different forms of art to create a product is what earned him his respected name in the industry.
Browne’s wise decision of incorporating wrapped chocolates with fashion items in such an interesting way has left the world wonderstruck. Who would’ve thought that chocolates and fashion could go so well hand in hand?
Twin J-pop sensations/models, Ami and Aya Suzuki otherwise known as AMIAYA attended the brand’s fashion show in Paris previously. That being said, the two sisters were unsurprisingly presented as brand ambassadors during Thom Browne Chocolate shop’s opening party in Tokyo, Japan.
