Bottled in Bond Act Anniversary-A Special Edition
This week, the Bottled in Bond Act anniversary, a consumer protection act that changed the bourbon history, was celebrated by Buffalo Trace. A special edition of E.H. Taylor (named for the man who helped pass the legislation himself) was released in very limited quantities. This became a partnership with musician Chris Stapleton and his charitable fund, Outlaw State of Kind. Stapleton himself signed several bottles. One is being auctioned off right now with proceeds going to help those affected by the recent winter storm disaster in Texas and flood relief for Appalachia, Kentucky. The commemorative edition features a barrel hand-picked by the Buffalo Trace team aged for 9 years and bottled at 100 proof per BIB standards.
