Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina refurbished suites by Pierre-Yves Rochon
For the start of the winter season on December 10, the Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina came up with 15 newly designed rooms and suites from the design couturier Pierre-Yves Rochon. The star architect was already responsible for the renovation of the first 13 rooms in 2017.
The colors beige and blue dominate the interior of the new rooms. A high-quality atmosphere is to be created with a lot of wood and noble fabric covers on the walls in the sleeping area. With the suites’ next redesign, the Grand Hotel Kronenhof continues on its path to revive the building.
The Grand Hotel Kronenhof is located in the Swiss mountain village of Pontresina. At 1,800 meters above sea level, it offers guests 112 rooms and suites and a wellness facility. In addition to the rooms and suites designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the fumoir, which will be newly built-in 2019, and the new event space also bear his signature. The gourmet restaurant Kronenstübli has been consistently awarded 16 Gault Millau points since 2016.
