Meet the Majestic Vitigliano Tuscan Relais & Spa in Chianti

Vitigliano Tuscan Relais & Spa on emporium-voyage

In the rush of Tuscany lies the picturesque Chianti region with its gently modulated hills, world-famous vineyards, medieval castles, and hamlets, dramatically staged garden-slender cypresses, and mighty pines. In this picture book landscape Marrion Hattemer and her family have found a beloved home, which they love to share with guests from all over the world. “At some point, the desire arose in me to find a place where I could create a real home for us, a permanent place where every family member could return home whenever the need for security and warmth arose. I knew that this would be the one in Tuscany, enriched Marion from the beginning of her great adventure that began seven years ago. Between the wine villages of Greve and Panzano, Marion discovered a hill with a Roman hamlet called Vitigliano.

You will stay in only seven exclusive suites. Connecting elements include the high-end box spring beds, the valuable Persian carpets from the hostess’s private possession, and ceiling lamps manufactured expressly for Vitigliano. Otherwise, each suite has been stylishly furnished with a mixture of antiques, carpentry, reproductions, and modern elements. Each accommodation also offers its residents a fantastic view of the estate, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and the surrounding lovely Chianti countryside. With Vitigliano I would like to establish a new category of hotels. Everything takes place in a completely private setting and environment for selected guests. As far as my hotel’s generosity, luxury, and services are concerned, everything that makes a big hotel attractive is there: a wonderful spa with an excellent treatment program, Hamam, qualified acupuncture and shiatsu programs. Our pool large yet, very private. Our restaurant chef prepares meals by guest requests with fresh produce from the farm garden.

Our conference room is equipped with the latest modern event technology; you sit under a colossal pergola with spectacular views of the Monte San Michele, the highest mountain of the Chianti with 892 meters, and enjoy mesmerizing sunsets.

As the day’s heat gives way to pleasant temperatures, Vitigiano’s chef shows off his culinary skills. The guests are among themselves, enjoying a Mediterranean four-course menu made of fresh organic ingredients from the region before the spectacular setting sun. Marion serves one of her fine wines from the well-filled cellar worth the visit.
